Breds were led at the plate by sophomores Zach Pangallo and Brandon Gray, who combined for 5 hits & 5 rbi's. Good to see these 2 seniors contributing to the Breds after sitting out of baseball for a couple of years. Pangallo and Gray, 2 names you will continue to hear about leading the Breds in baseball...glad to hear both are getting the opportunity to contribute! Curious to know why they both are not playing regularly at this level...

TAC
Congrats to the Breds. What is Pangallo hitting this year? I've heard he has been tearing the cover off the ball.

Just watched them beat Brossart and seniors did not step up at all. I would think varsity baseball you would play your best 9. I not going to mention names but stats don't lie. Hard to watch!:no:ž:no: I agree 100%. If a freshman or sophomore is one of your best 9 then play him. You have them 2 or 3 more years and the varsity experience that they gain by playing is huge. Hard to take a year or 2 off in baseball and come back and be successful. This ain't rec league coach. COME ON MAN.

Those seniors know's what it takes to win they have done it for the past 2 years and add to the mix one of the best Soph Athlete in Northern Kentucky in Pangallo looks like they are ready for another serious run for the 9th in baseball. Coach Jeff knows what he is doing the guy has won 3 out of 5 regional's in the past 5 years.

A few of them haven't played for the last couple years and when they are making errors and batting below the Mendoza line it will come back to bite them....I think that was what millertime was getting across that they could be stronger than what they are. I know they are winning games but so are the Reds and Heisey isn't hitting and now you are seeing different left fielders playing more. Strengthen your weak spots to get stronger. Have you seen Conner Bartels, Alex Grau, Pete Collopy and Josh Cain? The only thing New Cath needs is more pitching.

I agree with you nkybball13 it must me some mad parent or COACH in the system that's making this statement about the seniors they have one underclassmen that is playing and that kid is a great athlete and should be playing. Cain and Bartels are studs Grau is a baseball player. Keep up the good work boys like I said in a earlier post except when you play Highlands.
