I talked to Fogals camp after the games,The young man is a player for sure.I was told he accepted a full ride to play football at UK.Congrads and good luck maybe a 2 sport player lol.Conner looked sharp but to be honest Dixie and Lloyd are terrible this year.I didnt realize how bad the 34th is this year.So I will reserve my opinon until I see them play a decent team.

With his speed, there aren't many catchers who are going to throw him out stealing bases. He already owns the career stolen bases record at Conner. He broke that one last season. I can't remember if it was in the Dixie game, or the Lloyd game on Saturday, but he stole third standing up, and stole home once too.

 

He is one of the most pure athletes I've ever seen. I bet if he went out for the bowling team, he'd be an all star in that too. Fun kid to watch.

 

He stole third against Dixie but to the catchers defense, he was over half way there before the ball left the pitchers hand. Johnny Bench couldn't have thrown him out on that play. He must have stole home against Lloyd.

He will be a preferred walk-on at UK (at least for his first year).

Often the case when a runner easily steals third. No help from F1.

Blubirdman, you may not get so many hostile replies to your posts if you were to show a little more tact. Calling 2 teams "terrible" after one game? Based on what? I'll admit, they obviously had terrible outings and both may indeed struggle a bit this year but who knows.

Correct. He took a no hitter late into the game. I feel like the EKU scout got to see a good performance.

Kid had a very good outing. Not overpowering but kept Dixie hitters from hitting anything solid. Most importantly, like you said, zero walks. Unfortunately for Dixie, they surrendered around a dozen free passes, between walks and hit batters!
