Provide a report for spring practice at your school. Some of the info you could include:

1- Dates for spring practice.

2- Number of days completed.

3- Number of players participating.

4- Nature of drill work and practice.

5- Spring game or scrimmage.

6- Overall assessment of spring practice for your school and outlook for fall of 2013.

For Mason County:

We started ours the Monday after Mason-Dixon games(3/4) and finished yesterday(3/21) with our blue-white scrimmage. We had about 40 kids participating. We still try to go early, as soon as Mason-Dixon games are completed, so our track guys can get back to track- they are at a meet tonight in Richmond.

We were able to get in 10 days and glad to get 6 of those outside. The fieldhouse is big so we are able to get alot done when we do go inside. We try to use spring for as much live contact as possible. The practice time is pretty equally split between drill work and scrimmaging. We try to get our older guys as many live/game-like reps as possible. In the summer when we can't be in full pads, we will do more of the teaching of basics to the new players and incoming frosh in shorts. Our young guys still get work but the priority is live reps for the older guys.

Spring football is always fun and we did make significant improvement. Unlike the past two seasons, we will be an older, more experienced team this fall.

Please post a report on your school's spring practice.

For SK I heard Racke is staying at SK. Also heard Powell is being moved to running back.

Sounds like good information for another thread. How about telling us a little bit about Simon Kenton's Spring practice.

This is an outstanding thread...

Iam very curious to hear about others across the State but it seems that most will stay tight lipped as to not expose too much info. Just sayin...:thumb:

I know at Highlands they just work on gettin faster and working harder.

Other than that, you will just have to use your imagination...

It's not like you can really expose a lot of info during spring practices.

I hope you were just being sarcastic.
