Man, really sounds like Brossart has the best at every position. I look forward to following them to their state title! They should go undefeated this year! Do they not have a third outfielder...because i'm sure she'd be the third best in the region! Go ponies!

I don't think anyone was mentioned at 2B, 3B, or pitcher for Brossart in any of those threads. Kind of surprised by that myself. However, they do have two very good outfielders, an excellent SS and a great first baseman. I will agree with that.

Their pitcher is my favorite. As a Freshman, started every game but 4. Awesome pitch selection, does a very nice job. Has a ton of pop in her bat as well!

I agree she is a very good hitter, however she was not mentioned by BGH or anyone else in the pitching thread. At least the last I looked I did't see a pitcher mentioned from Brossart. She is a very good kid and nice player, and works very hard at it.

lawnboy mentioned her in the top ten pitchers. It really doesnt matter though, when a team wins 26 games, they have to have good pitching. Brossart is a very good TEAM and all of them are great in my opinion.

No one said Brossart wasn't a good team. I think they are a very good team.

Our pitcher Karlie Shackelford should have an outstanding season. Last year she won 20 plus games as a freshman at a new school and had an ERA of under 3.00. She is also an excellent hitter. She had some big shores to fill following Bellarmine standout Alicia Miller. She worked hard in the offseason with her pitching coach as well as Miller who worked with her on her speed among other things. Look for an even better pitcher in 2013. Mary Kay Reilly also worked hard in the offseason amd should be ready to contribute as well. The Lady 'Stangs defense could be one of the best, if the hitting is consistent this year they could accomplish a great deal.

She will win 20+ this year. Her pitching coach is the best around. Only games she lost last year were due to errors and our defense is much improved this year. Only need to score one run a game so hitting wont be an issue. Go Mustangs
