You have got to be kidding me! How CHEAPare you people in northern ky. Take the money out of you coaching salary. If a coach can't come up with the $ 35.00 fee then in my opinion they are not in it for the right reason. Coaches can only vote for coaches and players within their own region. If Coach Flyball is the only coach from the 9th region who votes and he votes for himself and one of his players for coach and player of the year guess who wins. At the selection meeting for the east-west all stars coaches from other regions can sing praises for another player outside of their region but only if that player has been nominated and her name is on the list. So don't complain if that coach wins because you are TOO CHEAP to join the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association and support your own players and other players and coaches in your region that are most deserving.:taz:

Any coach who was at the selection meeting can nominate any player from another team even if that coach from her school is not there because they are either too lazy - too cheap or just don't care. Hey Meathead-Playing in the East-West All Star games is an Honor. Especially for the Seniors who play on Sunday in their HS uniforms for their very last time. If you have never been to an East-West All Star game then you are missing something very special. Get off the pot Meathead missing a so called top notch tournament is nothing compared to the East-West All Star Games.:ylsuper:

That is true but there are some coaches who do show up at the meeting that can and do say positive things about players that they have seen from other teams. And sometimes a player will get selected even if their coach does not bother to show up :ylsuper:

Any jr-sr who was nominated by their coach or a coach from another school. But a lot of coaches don't bother to nominate any of their players. Plus the coaches must be members of the coaches association.

Players have been selected for both teams east-west jr's and sr's . All State will be after the state tournament.:dancingpa
