That is what alot of people I think thought, but I think they are just as talented if not better!!!

Right now the focus needs to be on this years team and coaching staff. Talking about a coach leaving is not good for fans or for the players. Pendleton County has a great shot at heading down the road to Rupp in March and Buddy Biggs is the driver of that bus. Support him and the players and let the season end, on a good note. If Coach Biggs feels like there is a better opportunity for him somewhere else and the fit is right then I'm sure the people in Pendleton County will make another great decision on hiring a Head Coach. They didn't go wrong 5 years ago.

I think with motiviation and hard work some of the JV boys could step up and be good athletes. I think any JV team would be hard to play for and coach while living in the shadows of such a good Varsity squad. They are always compared to the varsity team or the team from the year before. Some of these guys are freshman and they haven't built the strength or aggresiveness that players like Elliot and Belcher have. Notice the change in Kane from last year to this year.

Agree with you eagles, but I understand the speculation about Coach Biggs; as his stock will never be higher than if they make another Sweet Sixteen run this year!! I'm sure some of the younger players will develop, but the talent level does appear to be down for the next few years at PC; and yes it does run in cycles at most programs.

IMO Kane Belcher looks better this year for one simple reason--Pat Elliot!! Last yeat he was a primary target on the JV team for opposing defenses, while this year other teams are focused on stopping Elliot inside, and Mains & Elrod outside. As the old saying goes, you can't take away everything on "D" and I think he's the beneficiary of that. I will give him the fact he seems stronger this year, and is finishing much better than in years past. Elliot's arrival in Falmouth made a lot of players (inside guys in particular) on their team tougher and more aggressive, and has contributed greatly to their recent successes!!

Back to the '05-'06 season--Best of luck to them the rest of the year!!

I think we are all focusing on this year and noone is leaving this year out, it is great to finally be noticed after all these years... We are not mentioning anything that our players don't already know, and it isn't bringing their morale down. They are ready for whoever they get, and if they get to keep Biggs, that is great, but if not they are going to step up for Simms or whomever it should be... I think Biggs is getting support, WE LOVE BIGGS!!! We are just getting ready for down the road too! It is going to be hard for our boys to feel these big shoes, but so be it and they are ready, I know my son is a sophmore this year and I kinda feel so for them, knowing the shoes they have to feel. But don't think we haven't already been talking about it cause we have and they all understand and are ready for the challenge.. So Go CATS Go!!!! This year and hopefully many more and if not, it was fun while it lasted and we will continue to play hard...

Sharp I forgot how funny you were! Oh how I feel for Mrs.Sharp everyday ;)

you are absolutley right BG Green when you said that Elliot's arrival in Falmouth made a lot of players (inside guys in particular) on their team tougher and more aggressive. Because I have heard that there is someone that has been :fight: banging around with Elliot all year in practice and I think that he will be the one to take some of the pressure off of belcher next year!
