Ol' papa was finally able to get off the shelf and out to the Fieldhouse for a game. Vikings were up by 4 at the half; the 6'9" kid (Brown) was giving the Royals some trouble and they were hitting some threes as well. Game tied at 39 after 3 quarters and Royals were only up 4 with about 3 minutes to go; then made all the plays down the stretch.

 

Chambers with 13 points and 13 boards; impressed me with his hustle tonight as he got to several 50-50 balls; also the defensive switch putting Chambers on #14 was key. Johnson with 13 points and 7 rebounds; Stahl came off the bench tonight and was the game's high scorer with 20.

 

Royals were losing the rebounding battle 18-12 at half but finished the game 2 ahead at something like 36-34. Also hit 12-15 charity tosses.

 

Mason County wins another game against a 16th Region opponent; but has to lace them up again tomorrow against the Breds of Harrison County.

Royals are playing good ball right now.

Congrats to Mason County

This Mason Co. team doesnt want to be the team that doesnt make the region...but how sweet would that be for the 3 Classs A teams in the district
