HoggWild
Am curious when they changed the game date from Tuesday as is shown on all of the brackets and the "A" website to Monday night???? According to my sources who were at the draw in April. Last April when they held the draw the teams decided the "play in game" should be held on Monday. If not then the winner would have had to play Tuesday and Wednesday. If they continued then they would have played Friday and then again on Saturday. All involved thought it only fair to move the game to Monday.
panther15z30
The Panthers jumped out to an early lead as Matt Groves started out on fire and Josh White got to the rim with ease, but Groves quickely cooled off and Bracken went on a 13-3 run to end the half to turn a 24-22 deficet to a 35-27 lead. they scored the first 8 pts. of the 3rd quater to go up 43-27. Altogether a 21-3 Polar Bear run. Augusta trailed 56-45 with just over 2 minutes to play when they went on a 10-1 run mainly in part to Chris Mofford's 5 blocked shots in just under 3 minutes of action. The run cut the lead down to 57-55 after Josh White hit 1 of 2 free throws. Augusta had the ball down 58-55 with 15 seconds remaining, but turned the ball over with a very bad pass. Bracken did a good job of adjusting to the Augusta defenses throughout the game. While in man they pounded the ball inside to Hamilton and when Augusta went zone Hall penetrated the lane with ease and got to the rim or kicked it out to the hot shooters in Linville and Randolph. Bracken had 4 players in double figures. Hamilton with 18, Linville with 14, Hall with 13, and Randolph with 11. Groves and White led the way for Augusta with 19 and 17. Jeremy Hardymon who scored 40 pts a week ago only had 5 pts. Inconsistency that has plagued the team all season. Bracken appears to be the favorite to come out of the upper bracket to reach the All A finals. But it will be no easy task as the upper bracket is WIDE open with St. Pat, Paris, and Deming. Any of those teams can win on any given night.

Obviously submitted wrong to the "A" committee. Thanks
