January 22, 201313 yr I thoroughly enjoy the music of most on this list (the openers and primary act). However, there are some on here who don't consider them "real country artists", so I figured might as well just get that out of the way and those who enjoy these artists can discuss them. Also wanted to post this just so that everyone knew what country acts were coming to Riverbend this summer. What is the definition of "real country artist"?
January 22, 201313 yr Maybe I will get lucky again and you both will order tickets  We didn't match at Christmas this year, but I got her tickets for George Strait @Rupp in March ( I think) for a Valentine's gift.

January 22, 201313 yr Author What is the definition of "real country artist"? That's something you'll probably have to ask Jim Schue, FKYW, CWB, and etc.
January 22, 201313 yr Author With there being so many that will most likely sell out included this year, it'll be near impossible to actually get tickets to most of the better concerts if you're not going to bite the bullet and get the mega-ticket. Totally a guess, but I think Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban (only because I couldn't tell you the last time he came to Riverbend), and Jason Aldean will sell out. I'm glad more are on the weekend, or at least Thursday than years past.
January 22, 201313 yr Author Can you mix and match lawn tickets with pavilion? I don't think so. I wonder if they would let you upgrade certain tickets though. No idea.

January 22, 201313 yr Author I'd add Tim McGraw and Brad Paisely to that list as well. 6 out of 9 isn't too bad. I don't think Tim McGraw has sold out in the past. Maybe he will since its on a Saturday night.
January 22, 201313 yr I'd add Tim McGraw and Brad Paisely to that list as well. 6 out of 9 isn't too bad. Brad usually only sells out day of. Kenny, Luke and Jason IMO are the only three that will sell out quick.
January 22, 201313 yr Author Brad usually only sells out day of. Kenny, Luke and Jason IMO are the only three that will sell out quick. I remember saying last year that I bet Luke Byran would be the main performance next year (this summer). We said the same about Jason Aldean the year before he was.
January 22, 201313 yr I think MJ is just anticipating the musical feedback from a certain few people on here Elitist.
January 22, 201313 yr I remember saying last year that I bet Luke Byran would be the main performance next year (this summer). We said the same about Jason Aldean the year before he was. Luke Bryan is, without a doubt, the one I'm looking forward to the most. I was considering going to the YUM Center at the end of Feb but will pass.
January 22, 201313 yr Might be the biggest/best lineup that they've ever had: • Saturday, May 25 … Tim McGraw with Brantley Gilbert and Love & Theft • Thursday, June 6 … Brad Paisley with Chris Young and Lee Brice • Friday, June 14 … Toby Keith with Kip Moore • Friday, June 28 … Kenny Chesney with Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves • Thursday, July 18 … Keith Urban with Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch • Sunday, July 28 … Blake Shelton with Easton Corbin and Jana Kramer • Thursday, August 15 … Jason Aldean with Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett • Thursday, September 5 … Rascal Flatts with The Band Perry • Thursday, September 26 … Luke Bryan with Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line *For all the haters...we know this is a disgrace to country music. I haven't bought the mega ticket since 2008 maybe. I might this year and sell off one or two of the concerts. Isn't this the same lineup that comes every summer?
January 22, 201313 yr Isn't this the same lineup that comes every summer? Nope. Luke Bryan has never headlined. Blake Shelton rarely comes to Riverbend (he's been to NKU before though). This is Keith Urban's 1st trip to Cincy in a long time. Rascal Flatt, McGraw, Toby, Paisley, and Aldean are an every year thing, and Kenny is starting to come back regularly after his feud with the city a couple years back that caused him to skip Cincy for 3-4 years.
