Bobcats surprise the Dawgs. Hazard and Breathitt met for the third time this year, second time in a week on Saturday. Hazard had won both previous games convincingly but this time around it was a different tune as the Bobcats defeated the Bulldogs 49-44 in the third place game of the WYMT Mountain Classic at Perry County Central. With the win the Bobcats improve to 9-9 overall (3-3 region). Hazard falls to 15-4 overall (6-3 region)

Next Up:

Breathitt County; travel right back to Perry County Central to take on the Commodores on Tuesday.

Hazard: vs. Owsley County on Tuesday in the All A Classic.

I'm a little surprised by this score. Thought Hazard would prevail. Both teams had blowout losses the night before. Looks like Breathitt was able to recharge their batteries a little quicker. Hazard is really missing the leadership of injjured guard Hollon.

Hazard is no threat in the region...even with Hollon.....regional championship runs through PCC as I have said many times...
