The Bearcats played hard in this one and opened up to a 17-6 lead in the first quarter, but they just couldn't guard the Braves for 4 quarters. They did a nice job on Carr early but he warmed up eventually. Good road win for GC.

Grant plays extremely hard & get after it on defense. Difference in last nights game was Grant's domination on boards. Hopefully WV improves towards districts as GC did last year.

Walton had a lot of missed foul shots and didn't rebound very well (especially on the weak side). Helton needs to be more of a force inside with his size and leaping ability. Hopefully as he gets time back from injury that will improve. Walton runs some nice out of bounds plays. Grant County plays hard and watching coach Hicks is worth the price of admission. Can't be healthy for him.
