Size of my girl probably scared base ump into the out call on Maddy early in the game. Strike zone was wide but I say kudos to Abby for working the outside since he was giving it to her.

I agree on the pitching part if the ump is calling it stay with it. If your the batter you need to adust, I know a couple of our kids complained when they took a called third stike and to the coaches credit they fired back at them and told them to adjust bc he was calling it that way the whole game.

Nice, who were they against.... I didn't see any other's but my kids but I saw maybe 10 to 20% percent of all the games played. I wish they were 220 and she would have had at least 3 more, all well I guess she needs to eat a couple more cheese burgers.

Kelsey hit one against Dixie and Kenzie hit one against Lloyd. She also pitched a no-hitter in that game.

I saw both coaching staffs commiserating about the strike zone after the game. My guess is they won't see one that wide again.
