Once again, you have done no research at all. Go to KHSAA right now and look at Owen's. Carroll's, W-Town's, North Oldham's, Spencer's, and Trimble's schedule. Gallatin's schedule is very similair except they played Collins as well. Oldham's schedule is not that much tougher. Anderson and South are comparable to Grant's, maybe a little tougher. Walton's schedule is brutal. I just looked this stuff up in five minutes and I already have learned more about it then you already know.

Same crap about Grant County's schedule as we heard last year! Only those who seem threatened or their team not being talked about are the ones complaining. Its' all a matter of opinion and we know what those are like. No Grant County has not played Ballard or Madison Central or Henry Clay etc.. but they have played some pretty good teams. People think the Eminence win wasn't a good win but Eminence has some athletes! Ask Owen Co. and Henry Co.

 

Say whatever you want the Ryle game went down to the wire, they did get blown out by Southwestern which was expected but the margin was surprising and the Woodford Co. game was 38-36 with about 2:45 to go. Not bad for a team that has 2 returning starters 1 Jr. and 1 Soph. and the remaining 3 starters are seeing their first major varsity minutes. They had limited roles last season and to get these kids some confidence is commended.

 

I personally have heard very complementary comments from various coaches around the area about this young Braves group. So why do all of you guys that think you know basketball get on here and say who can play, or who plays who. Let the kids play and enjoy the success their having! They read this stuff! Who Grant Co. played 5-10 years ago is meaningless.

BGCAT is right. 5-10 years ago doesn't matter. The Braves just need to keep taking care of business and beat the teams on their schedule.

I think people have a valid point when they question Grant's strength of schedule. Of the teams they have beat, they have an overall record of 43-92 (only three of those opponents have a winning record). In their three losses, those teams have an overall record of 27-12. Grant is winning the games they are supposed to but they need some quality wins.
