Mason County didn't get their 6th win of last season until February.

^ They are much improved this season. Going to be a tough out in the postseason.

Is Lydia Stutler playing for Mason Cty? Enjoyed watching her play AAU ball and her 8th and 9th grade up her in Northern Kentucky. NCC lost maturity when she transferred but I don't see her name much so kinda suprised. Any news?

She played some in the game I watched. She seemed fine, but the Lady Royals just have more talent at her position. But she is certainly capable of being a tremendous asset to the team.

Hard to belive Mason came into 16th and won, unless Anderson had to sit with some blatant fouls!

Lewis was playing short handed I think they only had 7 girls there. This was by far the worst game I have seen this group of girls paly, their heads just weren't in the game. Lewis is a double digit better team than Mason, but give Coach Piper credit she had a great game plan to stop Anderson.

Anderson got her first foul with 20 seconds to go in the 4th quarter.

In the opener, the Lady Lions let an early nine-point lead slip away and Mason held on down the stretch by knocking down 12 fourth-quarter free throws for the hard-fought win.

The Lady Royals grabbed their first lead of the game on a Mariah Henry 3-pointer with 1:58 left in the third quarter and the senior guard scored 17 of her game-high 22 points in the second half. She was also instrumental in Mason being able to hang on to the lead the rest of the way, draining 12 of 16 from the stripe, including 11 clutch foul shots in the final 8:06 of the game.

I never seen a play of the game,just thought that might have been possible. I just know it ain't easy for out of region teams to come to 16th and pull an upset.
