Hazard moves to 7-0.

The 14th region IMO is going to come down to 3 teams---Hazard, Perry Central, and Knott Central. Hazard looks like the slight leader at this time in the season. That may change if Johnson becomes eligible at Perry, but for now the Bulldogs look very solid.

PCC is the best team without Johnson and Breathitt Co. is second right now......then Knott Co. and Hazaed.....way too early to put Hazard on top of the 14th region....

IHazard beat Breathitt by 20 a week ago. Breathitt is not in the picture if Fraley doesn't come back to the team, and probably wont be a factor even if he does come back. Hazard is the real deal. Perry Central will be too if Johnson becomes eligible. Knott Central is a good team and could repeat as champions, but the graduated Davis was a big loss and they are a young team.

Hazard has played nobody....Breathitt has played a tough schedule.....Knott is playing a good schedule also....way too early right now to say Hazard is the real deal...PCC will again be 14th region champs...

Well, Hazard has also beaten the teams they've played soundly, which you're suppose to do if you're playing weaker teams. We'll see pretty soon. Hazard has to play at Knott Central next week. The team that defeats Hazard is going to have to be able to handle constant full court pressure. They have a bunch of guards that there's not much different in and Big Al rotates them in and out and keeps fresh legs in the game. Also, Olinger , who sat out last year, is getting back into the swing of things. He's going to be a big help.

What's hurting Breathitt is not subbing. You have to sub and give your players a break. Their entire starters played against Holmes.
