Amazon Shipping Question.

Featured Replies

Amazon offered to ship me another one, but when I told them I had to have it by Friday they said, we cant do that, it wont leave our warehouse by then, they instead offered to refund me the money. Which they did. I got lucky and was able to find what I ordered at a store in the area. Had to pay $30.00 more for it, but oh well.

If its at the Hebron Amazon you should of been able to pick it up from there.

No idea where it came from, first tracking status I had of it was from Indy.

What did you order? (if you don't mind saying)

And you can't pick up orders at the Hebron fulfillment centers.

I'm sure if you complain enough anythings possible...

Lol, maybe. But I work there and when I ordered something from my FC I had to wait for it to be shipped to me in Burlington.

Amazon utilizes numerous carriers for shipping orders. FedEx and UPS obviously, but also DHL, USPS, Prestige, Lasership, A1, DB Schenker, Ontrac...those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. There are others.

As do I. However prior to that I twice picked items up directly from the warehouse when amazon messed up my order...

Perhaps they made that exception for you since you work there. I've never heard of that happening other than what you just posted.

It was before that, prolly 2 or 3 years ago...

Did you get your item in time?

Never got the item from amazon, had to go to a retail place (after hunting for over 2 hours online to find a place that had one in stock) and had to pay $30.00 more for it.

Also, I finally got a response from Fed Ex that basically said they only organize the shipments from the retailer and get them to the local postal service provider, its up to them to finish delivery.....issue is the local postal carrier doesnt have the package to deliver it. In fact the post office says they take close to 25-30 calls a day about this same issue with packages from fed ex.

Have you typed in your tracking number to the USPS website? See what it says. Fed ex does that a lot and actually did that with one of my packages the other day. IF it shows that USPS accepted it on the website then it's their fault. If its not showing it then its probably fed ex fault.
