Hazard is darn lucky to survive this game. Owsley led for 80% of the time.

 

Robert Smith and the Owls are re-connecting. They just need a little better direction in the final minutes to win these type games.

 

Nice to see you again Mr. Sarcasm, by the way, have you seen the Professor anywhere? Yeah, I was wrong on the points but got the W-L correct here. Owsley is playing well right now and I for one am glad that they are. You see, I was basing my prediction of this game on the 2 times i saw the OC this year, when they faced Estill, and well, they looked terrible. But, if you want to call me out and try to make me look stupid because I got the points wrong, well, I could easily do a search on this forum and check out how many times the Almighty Sage of Booneville has been wrong...I thought we were friendly with each other...geez Prof, when you are treating a 8 point loss to Hazard like a win, maybe you need to realize that you still lost.

Ronnie...... I was just joking with you. :thumb: I wasn't calling you out, or at least I didn't mean it to be that way. We both post on the 56th district, so I thought I could kid around with you. Sorry if I upset you.

 

Personally I didn't think Owsley would play that close either, but I don't usually make predictions on Owsley's games. The team really surprised me last night, but I'm proud of them and the way they are improving right now.

An inside source told me that Hazard played about as bad as they could play and still won.

Hazard played poorly (except for Hicks) in the 1st half, but Owsley went cold in the second half, missing numerous open shots....as can be seen by their 14 second half points. It was a standoff. Both teams had their moments in the "bad" play category imo.

Looks like Owsley is playing a little better now. Good for them. They deserve some wins after the struggle of a season they have had so far. And with Breathitt beating Leslie, who knows what these Owls can do?
