Trinity High School to honor 2012 football state champions Tuesday, Dec. 11

 

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Trinity High School will honor its 2012 Kentucky High School Athletic Association Class 6-A state championship football team at an assembly in the school’s Steinhauser Gymnasium at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.

 

Trinity’s student body, faculty, staff and administration, as well as the entire coaching staff and several local dignitaries will be in attendance.

 

Trinity (13-1) defeated Pleasure Ridge Park by a score of 61-7 on Saturday, Dec. 1, to claim the KHSAA Class 6-A state championship. The win gave Trinity its third consecutive title, 10th title in 12 years and 22nd state title overall.

 

Founded in 1953, Trinity is an all-boys Catholic high school with 1,320 students and more than 14,250 alumni. Its mission is to provide students with a superior high school education in a supportive atmosphere based upon Christian values in the Catholic tradition.

NO National Championships this year though - but that's ok.

Although this team wasn't as dominate as last years team, they always found a way to win (except CinnMoeller). In that, they were fun and exciting to watch. I enjoyed the team and the season. Travis was never rattled. James, spectacular running 90 yards to get 20. Dalyn finding a hole where there was none. And my favorites, Jabari, Ryan, Bertram and of course, LT. I didn't name the whole team , but to each member, Congratulations.
