This isn't a typical Mayfield game..They normally start off slow and then make adjustments, take over and dominate in the 2nd half..

Fairview is having quite abit of success running the ball as they had over 150 yds rushing in the 1st qtr, but, fumbled deep in Card territory on one drive and then hurt themselves with a couple of penalties on another drive..

Mayfield holds and forces a punt and on Mayfields 1st play, Guhy hits Dion Jackson for a 65 yd TD pass... PAT is good 28-8 Mayfield..

 

The problem for Fairview is they can't get any stops on the Cards..4 possessions, 4 tds..

As good as Fairviews offense is, they've had 5 possessions and only 1 score to show for it..If they're going to have any chance in this game, they're gonna have to put up points a little more consistently then that and hope for a couple of stops, which seem to be the biggest issue right now....

Yea, Mayfield is doing whatever they want against Fairviews defense.

Frv has a great running game but you can't keep pace when all you do is run and you are behind 3 scores.

Mayfield is playing with 9 guys in the box. Fairview has no prayer if they continue running the ball.

If I'm not mistaken, that is something like 4 or 5 fumbles in this game already

A holding penalty puts ball all the way back to 49 yd line, so, that may save the Eagles from this game getting out of hand..

The Eagles block the punt and they take the ball over at the Cardinal 42 yd line..

As quickly as Fairview can score and because they go for 2 on every score, I don't feel comfortable just yet.. If the Cards hold here and scores 1 more before the half, I'll feel alot better..
