Walton was lead by Sandlin, Judy and Mullikin.

Great job Lady Cats! I hope the two CC girls that collided and went out in the 3rd are ok and can be ready to play their next game.

I couldn't stay for the varsity game but I was impressed with WV in the JV game. #14 - Allie Mills (I think that was her name) was nailing 3 pointers left and right. She has a very nice shot!

Walton came out laser sharp in the first quarter and took a 25 to 4 lead. In the second WV was slowed down by foul trouble with Judy, Mc Adams and I think Mullikin all on the bench with two fouls. CC picked it up after getting shredded in the first qtr, and in my opinion, out hustled Walton the remainder of the game. The Bearcats move on to Boone County Friday night and South Oldham on Saturday!

You are correct - Allie Mills. She led the JV with 19 and was one of four WV JV girls that finished in double figures scoring.

I said it before, CC is a blue collar team! They work hard and don't give up! Walton should be very good this year (and should be for years to come with talented underclassmen coming up), so it's a nice showing for the Camels...imo!

Agreed! The Camels definitely did not quit, fighting all the way back to within 6 points but with only a few seconds left. It was the classic, "They didnt lose, they just ran out of time."

 

 

The Bearcats will have to learn / remember how to keep there intensity and focus for 4 quarters.

They are good. They both should be back Monday. Taylor Robinson played last night against Silver Grove.
