First of two meetings between the two teams. Lee is expected to be about the same as they were last year, they lost some good talent but also return some good talent, Wolfe however will be down but they play very well at home. These two teams have competed each year since 1997/98. Wolfe County is 25-11 against Lee County since 97/98. Wolfe left Lee County with a 70-67 win in the opening game of last year.

Prediction

Wolfe County 65-63

These two teams have competed against each other for a much longer time than since 1998. They were in the same district going back to at least the 1940's until realignment in 2006. They played every year 2 or 3 times.

I think Lee wins this one in a close game, around 4 points. Wolfe is young and rebuilding.

Professor, as usual, is correct. Lee and Wolfe have played at least twice a year for as long as I can remember, and I am well into my 50's. In fact, during the realignment, one of the worst things that could have happened did, splitting Lee and Wolfe, but both schools wanted the rivalry kept going, and were

successful.

Lee Co. 58-55.

That's as far as KHSAA would go so I have no idea how to check the results on past that. I PM'd Professor about this very question
