Does anyone know where parking space is at Louisville Central?

There is parking on the street all over the place. I think you don't have to pay the meters after 6:00pm (or maybe it's 7:00pm?)... there is also an elementary school across the street with a parking lot (diagonally across the street from Central). Not the greatest part of town, but you should be fine during the game.

The one time I visited there we parked in a decent-sized church parking lot on 15th Street that is right across the street from the visitors' grandstand. Folks from the church were welcoming to the football crowd, and we were just steps away from the gate.

The folks at Central should be terrific hosts.

Tip: eat at their concessions. They have THE best concession food of any stadium I have ever been to. Oh...and the best drum line and student section.

We went to Central back when they were on the Highlands schedule in 2007. Great place to watch a game. Parked on the street less than a block away from the field. I can't speak for the concessions, but it's a really cool atmosphere for a high school game.

Parking is not good, in my opinion. I would suggest meeting at a hotel near the airport and carpooling with friends from there.

We actually parked in the parking lot of the fine "spirits" establishment both times I was there. Fantastic facility once you are inside. And yes, the concessions are awesome.

Funny thing is, there are worse parts of town on the OTHER side of town.
