November 16, 201213 yr In other news, Siva still sucks. And in which particular universe is that true?
November 16, 201213 yr 7-31 from three. Not a real good 3 pt. team. Even Pitino said so after their exhibition win over Bellarmine.
November 16, 201213 yr Jaylen Beckham, formerly of LexCath, Huntington Prep, St. Patrick's? and Bryan Station, played 10 minutes for Samford last night. He was 0-1 from the floor, 1-2 from the free throw line and finished with 1 point, 2 rebounds and 4 turnovers. I believe he is the backup point guard.
November 16, 201213 yr Didn't get to see this game. Who else looked good for the Cards? Gorgui Dieng: 10 pts, 13 reb, 5 ast, 3 stl, 4 blk. He had a solid night and was a nice bounce-back after being seriously limited by foul trouble against Manhattan. Chane Behanan: 12 pts, 18 rebounds. That rebounding total is a career-high for Behanan and represents the best rebounding night for Louisville since Ellis Myles had 18 in a game in 2005. All in all, I'm not sure what to take away from this as they weren't a very good team. This is going to have to go one of two ways in the next week for Louisville to get wins in the Bahamas tournament: 1) either Blackshear or Hancock has to find his shot or 2) they'll have to stop taking them and find a way to get the points elsewhere. I'm not expecting a lot from the Bahamas tournament at this point. I'm really disappointed in how little Hancock has lived up to his hype. Whatever problems that guy has in his head right now that keeps him from making shots, the crowd's reaction to his shots last night didn't help...
November 16, 201213 yr And in which particular universe is that true? The one where TOs hurt your team.
November 16, 201213 yr The one where TOs hurt your team. He's a point guard who played nearly 30 minutes. He had two turnovers against seven assists. You can say he gets a little out of control at times, you can say that he occasionally gets into a dumb situation, but that he sucks? That's not even remotely accurate. IMO Russ Can I assume you meant to put that the other way around or are all of Louisville's guards terrible?

November 16, 201213 yr I think he makes poor decisions with the ball. Yeah, he might of had a good game last night, but it was against Samford. I think he makes way too many turnovers and a lot of that is because of his inability to finish around the basket. He drives, goes up, gets "stuck" in the air, and attempts to dish it out. This usually results in a turnover and a fast break going the other direction. At least when Russ goes into the paint, he goes in there like he is 6' 6" and makes it point to finish the drive off with 2 points. Again this is my opinion, don't get all tore up because I don't think your boy Siva is that great of a point guard. I think he gets way over-hyped.

I'm talking about objectivity here. The guy has his flaws, but you said he "sucks." My response is the same: that's a patently ridiculous statement.

I'm not a fan of him, and I think he holds UL back a lot with his poor decisions. I will keep in mind to not use such blatant language next time. Siva is subpar, better? :isurrender:
