I saw a tweet today saying 13 St. X players made first team all-district. It got me wondering about the make up of the rest of the team. Does anyone know of a site where I can find this info or could you provide me with a link?

Thanks!

All-District teams are an absolute joke and should be taken with a huge grain of salt. The coaches can nominate anyone they want from their own team and then can't vote for their own players. I know it's hard to believe but there are coaches who have been know to take out their distaste for a certain coach by not voting for their players.

So it sounds like St X's coach is very well liked then :sssh:

Not much different than any "ALL" team. Coaches can choose not to promote their own kids, or choose not to vote for certain kids because they don't like the coach. However, that is one vote...all district is the entire district of coaches (as is all-state), voting publicly in front of the other coaches...can't hide your agenda that way! Its a good measure for the district as a whole.

Does anybody have a link to this ? Seems to me like this generally is tallied up later in the year.

Does seem a little early....
