Wow you are a little crabby this morning. All I did was asked who won there. Does anybody know? I guess with your philosophy Paintsville might as well not show up since they are only a "Soph" team this year! Regardless of how you downplay Paintsville this should be a great game.

Paintsville swept the regular season games last season, before falling to JC in the district by two at Sheldon Clark. Of the Tigers' 15 losses last season, only 4 were on their home court.

It's one of the toughest places to play in the state. It's a good thing they are only Sophs I guess. That should give JC a chance. JC is the better team and I'll take them on the road in this one.

I wonder what kind of excuses you will use after Tuesday.

Who is making an excuse? I just said that they didn't play as bad as what some are making them out to have played. I said that Central was not even in their league. It's hard for 5'9" guards and 6'1" post people to handle a 6'8' guy that shoots from 25 feet out and then takes it inside, or for that matter for the same kids to handle a 6'11'' 270lb. behemouth. The kids played hard and gave it everything they had, so I really dont see a whole lot of shame in that. What else should they be expected to do? The kids are only capable of giving it all they have. The BOTTOM LINE is they were just not as talented. If Central or anyone else in the 15th region played them 50 times I think you would see the same results with the same margins 50 times. I am just happy that the margin wasn't a lot worse than what it was. I was fearing 50 or worse.

 

For the poster from Florida, sorry but however this Broward team is ranked in Florida has little bearing of how they might fair against teams here in the 15th region this year. This is not meant to speak badly of this years 15th region, but the level of overall talent is nowhere close to Broward. There is just that large of a gap.

 

 

ADDIDAS, I know the first thing that you do when you wake up in the morning is to try to find something that you can belittle someone about(even if it is kids) so here is hoping that your daily objective has been met once again. I can only imagine how important and fulfilled that you must feel once again.

How many 3's did Broward hit. It seemed that at one point they hit one on 4 straight trips down the floor. And from what the radio guys were saying, Broward was shooting 5 to 7 feet behind the line.

I dont think that I have ever said anything, at any time, about how no one would or could not play with this team. As a matter of fact, I think that I am on record as saying that I didn't know if they would even win as many as 5 games this year, BUT, I have said that I have enjoyed watching the teams intensity and the disciplined structure. I think that has been pretty much about it.

You are officially being corrected. I never at any time said anything remotely close to that.

OK . I thought that you were saying that I said that nobody would be able to play with JC this year. But I will stand by what I said, if North Broward wanted to beat anyone from this region that bad, they are entirely capable.

Honestly Central did not play terrible. They were just way overmatched as would any other team be out of the 15th region against Broward. I dont think there is anyone in the 15th region that could stay within 30 of them.

 

Graves County defeated North Broward by 25 points last month in their own backyard. Are you saying that Graves is 60 points better than any team in the 15th region?

Probably!! Good teams here but no outstanding team to compete with the state's elite teams. Just my opinion. :thumb:
