So they led one time in the HC game. Trailed the rest of the game. Never led in the Madison Central game. I'm not here to bash Creek, i'm just saying you are what your record says you are. Creek is 3-5, exactly the same as they were in 2011 after 8 games.

Again. That's your take. Creek is 3-5. But has played a very tough schedule. Also, led the Harlan County game after being down a ton and had the chance to ice the game and fumbled it away. Central. Creek owned the 2nd half and had chances to win that game as well. I don't care that you have a cynical take, as you have no affiliation to the team. That's fine. As a person that actually has watched the games, I'm giving you a perspective of actually seeing the games. Creek's record is deceiving. Again, you have your take and that is fine. But Creek has 3 D1 kids playing and has more talent then their record may reflect. Creek is very young and growing week after week.

And MMCM, true that the loser more than likely plays Trinity. But Creek has a chance to beat Lafayette as they are truly Creek's rival and is always a good game.

I am not sure about the Lafayette game, but I havent seen TC play (yet) so I will hold off until Saturday to speculate on that.

Which 3 kids are D1 for TC?

#32 Dennis Oxendine. RB/DB (SR.)

#19 RJ Taylor WR/DB (JR.)

#21 Casey Grimes RB/LB (JR.)

Not to discount the young Soph. QB Graham Gordon who really is a nice player and can play D1 ball if he continues on his path. And #8 Tavon Dunn 6'2 WR has the opportunity as well.

Oxendine is the only one I have seen play. I am not sure about the other two. Do any have offers/interest at this point?

RJ Taylor is being recruited/interest by just about everyone. Ohio State, Miss State, UK, UC, Mich. State, UofL....

Was a recruit on the sideline this weekend at the UK/Miss State game and also was on the sideline of the UC/Miami OH game that evening.

Dennis Oxendine is most likely going to sign with Gus Malzahn at Arkansas State although he is holding out hope for the UK/UL offer

And Casey Grimes is being looked at by Western KY real strong

Looking forward to seeing these young men play on Friday Night.

GRC will bring two powerful runners in Darius Skinner (#6) and CD Spight (#33). They will carry the bulk of the ground game. Defense will need to play tough.

Special Teams could play an interesting factor in this game. GRC has huge luck of getting good field position on kickoffs and punts. But they are weak in the FG kicking game.

How does TC match up in those areas?

I don't think Creek has attempted a FG yet. Creek has a lethal return game with 3 separate players that have returned a kick for a TD. (Oxendine, Taylor, and Carter). Punt returns are handled by Oxendine and Taylor as well.

Creeks weakness on Defense comes in the form of exactly what you named as GRC's strength. Big, powerful runners. Creek's Achilles heel has been its Lines on both sides of the ball. They have had the most trouble in the trenches. Creek has a lot of team speed, but not very big at the point of attack.

The secondary for Creek when they are playing their best players, is its strength. Oxendine, Taylor, Carter and a good surrounding group make up the strong secondary. They can shut down a teams passing game. But the better teams haven't had to as they have been able to run on Creek

That is some intersting match up and will be interesting to see how it all works out. I still think the high score I picked in mu first thread will be the one,
