They had good days and bad days, and sometimes even looked like different teams from set to set.

NCC beat Dayton 3-0, Highlands beat Bellevue (not sure of the score).

NCC vs Highlands in the championship match at 6:30 tonight at Newport HS.

Here how I'm scoring this:

.5 point for correctly predicting the 2 regional teams, 1 point each for getting the exact seeding right. Thats 3 points max per district. BUT - since I made my predictions before the blind draws and brackets were announced, I get to throw out rounds where my 2 regional predictions played each other before the finals.

 

Region 10:

D37 #1 Brossart #2 Campbell Co.

Currently at .5 point - 1 additional point if CC finshes 2nd

D38 #1 Pendleton Co. #2 Harrison Co.

Currently at .5 point - 1 additional point if Pen Co wins - subtract 1.5 points from total

D39 #1 Augusta (yes, i said it) #2 St. Patrick

Currently at .5 point - 1 additional point if Augusta wins

D40 #1 Montgomery Co. #2 George Rogers Clark

1 point - done

 

Region 9:

D33 #1 Ryle #2 Conner (like them ahead of Cooper)

Currently at .5 point - 1 additional point if Ryle wins - subtract 1.5 points from total

D34 #1 St. H #2 Villa

Currently at 1 point - 2 additional points if St. H wins

D35 #1 ND #2 Holy Cross

Currently at 1 point - 2 additional points if ND wins

D36 #1 NCC (down, but still the best in district) #2 Highlands (Bellevue or Dayton may prove me wrong)

No scores reported - did they even play in District 36 last night??

 

So far that's 5 points out of 21 max in the District round. Best possible finish is 16 which is 76%

Even for a 5 set match, 51 digs is some serious ballin'. She's one of the reasons I was so high on BB. I believe volleyball matches are won in the back row, not the front.
