The Dragons scored 2 minutes into the game and it looked a little bleak right away for the Gators, but they battled and fought off field position woes to keep it at 6-0 for most of the first half. But things started to unravel late in the 2nd Quarter when the Dragons scored and forced an INT on the next Greenwood play from scrimmage. After that Central punched it in to go up 22-0 at the half. In the second half Greenwood didn't mount a serious scoring threat until the game was well out of hand at 36-0.

 

Central has shut out Greenwood the last two times they played at The Swamp (14-0 in 2010). Oddly enough Greenwood's last 5 shutouts have all been at home dating back to 2005.

Yes. Played sparingly, but he was on the field. I was stunned. And, unfortunately, on a kick return he went down again. Supposedly didn't do any more damage though because according to his coach "there's nothing left to damage." I don't know if he'll play any more going forward.

I am assuming he hasn't had surgery yet then. I don't know if that is amazing or ill-advised. I hope he recovers.

Has not had surgery yet. One of the newspaper reporters on Twitter said Tanner's dad indicated they would get surgery at the end of the season.
