If the scoreboard is correct, this one throws a monkey wrench in the Lex/Central KY contest this week.

Wow. Congrats to the General's.

It was that kind of celebratory night for host Lafayette as it beat the Blue Devils for the fourth time in five years. The Generals lead the 65-year-old rivalry 35-31-2.Chester, a 6-foot-3 senior, had six catches for 160 yards and three touchdowns, so he can be forgiven for his fancy two-step."I really shouldn't do that," he said of his impromptu dance. "But we've got such a good group of guys and things were going so well. The heat of the moment took over so I did a couple moves."Lafayette's offense had all the right moves in rolling up 455 total yards.Garrett Peavler completed 15 of 26 passes for 299 yards and three TDs, and was picked off twice.

I heard a lot of chatter last week on various websites talking about how people wanted to come see Elijah Bell put on a show. I can tell you this, if you went to that game Friday night you not only saw Elijah Bell with a very below average performance(according to his season stats so far), but you also had to have taken notice of a few Lafayette players who upstaged him!!!

RB Kylan Nelson- 18 carries, 140 yds, 3 TD's, 2 rec, 19 yds

WR Tranard Chester- 6 rec, 160 yds, 3TD's

QB Garrett Peavler- 15/26, 299 yards, 3 TD's

Which makes Lafayette's loss to Owensboro the most head scratching loss for a team in 2012.
