Genetic grown corn causes tumors

Yes I do. It isnt that far fetched of an idea. Our world is already overpopulated, so what if people die, and while we are killing them we will sell them medicine and let health care make money too.

There are a lot of books out there that believe this also. The stuff they put in our foods is basically embalming fluid (preservatives).

Do you wear a tinfoil hat most days?

I won't say there isn't corruption in any of these businesses, but do you really think they could cover this stuff up. Do you know how many environmental groups and the amount of money beings spent to try and bring companies like Mosanto and Cargill down?

Come to think of it, I think I saw a tiny Camera in my Corn-Chex this morning. I think they are watching me.

While I can't say I believe food companies purposely put products in our food to make us sick and therefore need to buy drugs, I do sometimes believe our food it too "manufactured". Numerous additives are added to our foods to improve taste and I sometimes wonder what the long term affects of these additives are. Another issue is how processed US food is rather than using fresh ingredients for the sake of cost and ease of preparation. That was the biggested difference I noticed between our food and European food when I visited a friend over there. I sometimes wonder if that may be a result in the difference between US obesity versus European. I lost a pound a day while I was in France and the taste was much better.

Worked for Big Tobacco.

I'm hesitant to say yes. More likely is they simply don't want to get them well. As Chris Rock once said, "The money ain't in the cure, it's in the comeback."

Big Tobacco purposely got people sick or just used additives to make the product more addictive? True if it is more addicitive that would make people smoke longer and eventually get sick but, I always assumed stronger addiction was the goal.

Is there really any difference? They know the end result will be death, so isn't putting additives to make it more addictive just the same?

Yes, a big difference. While I'm certainly not defending what tobacco (some) did, they were adding more of a chemical that was already in the product naturally. The intent was to make the productas addictive as possible. It definitely caused deaths indirectly.

No, it caused deaths directly, because the tobacco companies were well aware of what the end result of long-term use of their product would be, and they willfully make it harder for tobacco users to kick the habit.
