Total domination in the trenches by CCHS. A kickoff return and a fumble return by KCD was all that kept this from being a blowout. Carrolls offensive and defensive lines just ruled. Panthers go to 4-0 and KCD slips to 3-1. Bellevue is next for CCHS.

We'll never get the publicity that a lot of schools get, but this was one of the best high school games one could ask for. CC just refused to lose this game battling back time after time, second efforts not only by the ones carrying the ball but time and time again by everyone. As you pointed out the guys in the trenches made this game what it was. This was a great game to watch. This is a very unselfish bunch of kids who genuinely play for each other. You can see it in their excitement for each other. KCD has a nice team as well.
