A good effort from Corbin tonight, turnovers and penalties stopped them 3 times inside the red zone in the first half, plus Tates Creek made a huge goal line stand on another possession in the first half. The last play of the half was also big as Tates Creek scores to take a 14-0 lead.

I didn't realize Ruddell was being inducted into a Hall of Fame tonight... what for? Player? Coach?... Just curious... Tates Creek has one weekness, and they have got to figure out how to correct it, or it will be a long season, full of nail biters. There are only so many on-sides kicks that they can recover... Just the same, hats off to Creek on a solid win. These kids have talent and heart, and talent + heart = unlimited potential... Go Creek!!!

Coach Ruddell was a quarterback for Nicholas Co. in the 70's who lead the team to the No. 1 ranking in the state for 8 weeks. He was the starting QB as an eight grader for the varsity.
