True blue (and gold)
It certainly was a good win, after last week's season ending injury for SR QB/RB Kyle Sparks. The Raiders are still making adjustments to his loss, in addition to having three other starters out due to injury. The Raider defense claimed two safeties. Sophomore Dusty Wyssbrod had ten tackles, one fumble recovery and two interceptions. The Raider offense has to find a way to get more results. A pivotal moment occurred with about 3 minutes left, at 10-8, when Clinton Co was in the red zone. A very late hit caused a personal foul that started a chain of penalties that pushed Clinton Co back beyond the 50 yd line. They were forced to punt and the Raiders brought the victory home.
