Watching the replay of this one now and both teams was able to move the ball easy on their first drives.

After getting a turnover Grayson scores on a 4th and 15 play.

Have to love the courage Grayson showed going for it.

I.M.O. The refs had a bad 2nd quarter.

 

The H.C. rec had a worse quarter with at least three drop balls.

Grayson County made H-County pay both times they turned the ball over.

 

I think its a huge deal when a team can convert turnovers into points early in the season.

The young team from H-County had only themselves to blame for being down this much at the half.

 

Not taking anything away from Grayson, but H.C. turned the ball over twice, their defense tried arm tackling way to many times and the rec had to many drops.

The third quarter seem to take forever, with the only score coming on a safety making the score 28-8 G-C.

Overall I was impressed with the way the young H.C. team played in the 2nd half.

 

The better team won this one without a doubt.

 

I think H-C has a chance to win some games this season and I expect them to show big improvement as the season goes on.

So...can you give me your assessment of the Grayson Co team? I am always interested in them but rarely get to see them play.

They looked good for the first week.

Though the team they played was really young, which leads me believe the more experience team might be in for a tough year.

 

The one thing I did like about them was they took advantage of the turnovers and for the most part the way the defense was aggressive most of the game.
