July 26, 201214 yr What low level recruits and walk ons are you talking about? Aren't these 30 kids already there? If UK can field teams capable of getting safely drummed in the SEC while on probation and with scholarship limits then I don't see why Penn State can't do the same in the Big 10. Penn State will still be better than UK. Would be a good game but I will take UK for the next few years. It will take a while for Penn State to get back on track.
July 26, 201214 yr I still think they'll get enough quality players to be competitive. These 30 who vow to start a new legacy are a testament to that. There are some kids who will want to be a part of that change who are good recruits. These 30 are off to the right start and I applaud their loyalty in a situation where they have options to jump ship and not skip a beat in life.

UK is close to derailment and it may take them years to get back on track without probation. I am scared for the near future at UK.
July 27, 201214 yr The 30 players I doubt are all starters. Possibly. They were good enough to be at Penn State before this all became a national story so they should be good enough to start a new legacy at Penn State.
July 27, 201214 yr Let's be real Penn St. Wasnt that spectacular to begin with. I'll venture to say these 30 guys are closer to bottom 30 guys as opposed to the top 30...we don't even know if any of these 30 are walks ons, starters, etc. the Majority of the guys who have even a remote chance at the NFL are going to bounce. I predict 3 wins this season...Ohio U, Temple, Navy. Any studs on next years team can leave after this season with no sit out time...
