What a win for the Mountain Lions. They played great defense for the entire game and the second half was nearly perfect. The shots weren't falling for Pineville in the first half but the second half Pineville lit Lynn Camp up. Big man Dustin Day was just to much for the campers to handle. But he wasn't the only Mountain Lion to play good. Everybody really came out to play for this one. The key was Pineville's ablility to shut down Siler's penetration. This is a big momentum booster with Barbourville coming up Tuesday. Congrats Coach Strange and the Pineville team for having and executing a flawless game plan.

The Mt Lions are a good basketball team, maybe the most underrated team in the 13th. Their last two district games should be gone ones, and with the district tourney at Pineville, they have a great shot at winning it.

That's an impressive win for Pineville. I thought it would be very close.

I agree every game LC has lost this year they have had a terrible quater. Why? Awful shot selection from two or three players, Not playing solid D, Not getting back on D, other than Dixon noone rebounding, seems some are more content to just shoot and score than try to do what it takes to win big games. Pineville was a good TEAM, I agree they are underrated, but their coach may be the one most underratted! In the first half the post for LC was doubled and sometimes tripled teamed, in the third LC did not adjust and fired away from every where, playing into P'ville's hands, thus the blowout 3rd. A large crowd at the game from up top it sounded like more than 3/4 of the people were loudly yelling for P'ville great fan support for them. The crowd had a large part in this win. The student section seemed like they were able to get in a couple of key player's mind. I can't wait to see what crowd Pineville will have for the Barbourville game. It is good to see J.D. Strange finally getting credit for his hard work at Pineville. He has paid his dues and now finally the program is on the verge of turning around.

Why did they play Dixon on the outside on defense? That seems to be a very strange move to me.

Best I can remeber he went out of the game and when he came back he was on one of he guards outside, why? Don't know. Tanner had the big boy inside.

Coach Strange has done a very good job wherever he has been.

Looked to me like he started going off when someone else was put on him. He (Day) is a large fellow and a good low block player.

I hate to see Lynn Camp lose because they have a lot of kids that I know on their but it is good for Pineville to be stepping up finally making some noise.
