July 3, 201214 yr Author Stairway to Heaven Black Dog Rock and Roll It's fine with me if I never here those songs again. ...I'm kinda with you. I grew up and cut my teeth on Led Zeppelin IV and darn near nothing but Led Zeppelin IV, but any more, I'm more inclined to listen to II, III, or Houses Of The Holy. If I do listen to IV, I generally only put on side two.
July 3, 201214 yr Tough for me to come up with a constant top ten list, I love everything they did. For right now, I'll go with: 10. Ten Years Gone 9. No Quarter 8. The Wanton Song 7. Communication Breakdown 6. Down By The Seaside 5. Black Dog - Rock And Roll = Tie 4. Tangerine 3. Rain Song 2. You Shook Me 1. When The Levee Breaks Note: Stairway to Heaven is a great tune, but it's been so overplayed I would rarely put it my top ten even though I love the song.
July 3, 201214 yr These are not in my favorite order, but from album to album. From Led Zepp one. Good times bad times. Communication Breakdown How many more times Led Zepp Two The Lemon Song Thank You Moby Dick Led Zepp Three Entire Album Led Zepp four Going to California Led Zepp Five(Houses of the Holy) Entire album except Dancing Days. Led Zepp Six(Physical Graffiti) Entire album Led Zepp Seven(Presence) Entire album Led Zepp Eight(In through the out door) Entire album. I'm not going to include Songs from Coda. I know this is not a top ten list, but it's the best way for me describe my favorite Led Zeppelin songs. I can't pick my favorite LZ album but my least favorite is IV.

That's one I wouldn't have expected to see make a top ten list. Interesting choice :thumb: And You Shook Me...great showcase of JPJ's skills on the organ (and keyboard). I can't believe how often he gets completely overlooked.

I honestly don't think I've listened to Presence since the days of cassette tapes. I'd say my favorites right now are III, Houses Of The Holy, and II - in that order.
