Hackett was a graduate assistant but the last few years has been in the marketing business. He has no head head coaching experience what so ever. He is the only man who would take the job under Heffington. Good Luck MC Indians, you deserve better because you are a good bunch of kids

 

The source missed on this one. About 20 applicants for the position and he was the only one offered the job because he actually had a plan on running a program for the benefit of the players. He says his emphasis is on teamwork, execution, strong defense and pitching. Seems like a different plan from where Montgomery County has been. His practice looks alot more like instruction and he hasn't cussed any players or destroyed any benches yet.

Your name fits your comments well. There were only 3 applicants and none from Ky at present qualified. You obviously know nothing about baseball or you would.know that the previous practices they were used to were VERY structured and full of instruction. Similar to a classroom, you learn what you want. There were no c ussing of ids or

Practices were very structured but very little individual instruction. Players have commented that they do more in 2 hour practices with the new coach than 4 hours under previous. No instruction given to pitchers or catchers previously. How do you expect to win anything if you don't spend time developing pitching? Any pitchers who wanted coaching had to go elsewhere and pay for it. I know for a fact he has cussed players and went into the clubhouse and beat a chair with a bat during a game last year. I also know how many applicants there were for the job..not all were interviewed but more than 3 were interviewed for the job. What qualifications? There are no formal qualifications to be a baseball coach...teacher yes...coach no. Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Do not let your so called facts be mislead by second hand info. I know for personal experience what Really happened on a daily basis. Time will tell the truth.....

I am sure he will and he has the support! As far as Montgomery, time will tell but not this year...it is an inherited team that has taken 3 previous years to prepare. Let's determine that in the next couple of years with Hackett's building. Especially now they are moving the fence in...little Johnny can hit homeruns now!
