Basketball season for 2012/2013 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Pulaski County ? Remember, please be constructive.

Pulaski Co. will be the team to beat in the 12th region this coming year. With 4th year starters Taylor Gover (Sr), Cody Johnson (Sr), and Tyler Goins (Sr), Pulaski will be a force in the 12th. Blake Burton (So) is a returning starter and Spencer Laign (SR) should round out the starting five. Riley Hall (Fr) will be one of the top freshmen in the 12th this year and will be a big contributor if not a starter. Pulaski's weakness will be their depth and size (similar to last year). But with the seasoned veterans they have, I see them as the preseason favorite to represent the 12th in Rupp.

If my Rebels can't make it to Rupp I am not ashamed to admit that I would love to see Taylor Gover playing in Rupp. After his 'flu game' I'd love to see him shine on the floor at Rupp.

That being said, it isn't going to be easy for Pulaski County at all. Southwestern will want revenge for their two defeats and Somerset will not lay down for them either. Somerset may be most equipped to defeat Pulaski County as well.

I may need to move to Somerset in Decemeber. . There will be some good basketball played in that area this year. I'm glad the region tourney is in Lincoln this year. 15 minute drive for me.

Come on down!!!

Were Pulaski and Southwestern missing a lot of players at the AAU state tourney? Neither was as strong as I expected.

Yes, both were missing their star players.
