I've seen some thought that Appel isn't the best pitcher available.

Seems like I always heard them linked to the catcher.

He and Gausman from LSU are the top 2, however Appel was the #2 overall prospect...It will be interesting to see how far he slides...I'm sure lots of teams were looking for the draft to play differently thus far...I'd take Appel at #14 :D
