What's in it for him to leave Ballard?

I don't think anything. I don't think Russell should have left but he did.

If my aging memory is correct the kid said something about being behind academically as one of the reasons for the move. If true, I get that.

No doubt. I hadn't heard that so that would make sense. May as well go where his basketball education isn't hindered while he gets his academics in order. :D

Quentin-Snider05123-220x300.jpgIt’s been a sensational spring for Quentin Snider.

The Ballard High School junior-to-be point guard, who has committed to the University of Louisville, has played well enough with the Louisville Magic to see his national ranking soar. He’s ranked No. 26 by ESPN and No. 27 by Scout.com.

Now, Snider has been invited to several national camps.

Snider will attend the Nike Elite 100 camp in St. Louis on June 7-10 for the top underclassmen in the country. He will also participate in the NBA Players Association top 100 camp June 13-17 in Charlottesville, Va.

Snider averaged 16.5 points and 4.5 assists as a sophomore for the Bruins.
