When did Kyle Fuller become a curveball pitcher? I haven't watched him since last season but his velocity seemed to be way down and the number of curveballs he threw was much higher. With that, he didn't pitch poorly. He just had terrible defense behind him.

Nice effort by Ben Maile today. He's had a really strong season.

With this victory CovCath improves to 28-4 and next plays Lloyd Memorial HS at CovCath in the Jim Connor Classic Saturday May 12th with the first pitch being thrown at around 1:30pm.

Of note: CovCath is allowed to only play four more games and as such no matter if they win or lose against Lloyd on Saturday, Lloyd will move on in the Tournament!

The 35th District seeding games have all been played and the standing are as such.

When did Kyle Fuller become a curveball pitcher? I haven't watched him since last season but his velocity seemed to be way down and the number of curveballs he threw was much higher. With that, he didn't pitch poorly. He just had terrible defense behind him.

Nice effort by Ben Maile today. He's had a really strong season.

Clyde, I was asking the same question. From watching the young man pitch over the years, he has always been a fast ball curve ball pitcher but today it was curve ball, curve ball and frankly not a fast ball at all.

I am not excepting a answer from the HC side but is he ok? Honestly just worried about him, as that is not the Fuller I have come to see pitch for HC!

He doesn't throw hard enough i guess. No great off speed either. He is crafty with placement and changing speeds on his fastball.

Velocity! If he finds an opportunity, and works his tail off...he could play some college and maybe bloom late. He simply doesn't throw hard enough to attract colleges...he just throws a lot of high school outs.

These are very impressive numbers to say the least. What are his measureables?

Does he play summer ball? Idk this Maile from Adam but Iam sure he is one heck of an athlete that most coaches if given a chance would take this kid on their team any day.

BTW, is there a reason you only posted half of that picture of alumn playing in college? Just curious............
