May 5, 201214 yr Impressive win yesterday. Let's get another win today and then send Latos out there on Sunday for the sweep...

May 5, 201214 yr Author If the first two innings are any indication the Reds don't have a chance tonight. The Reds have struck out 4 times thru the 1st two frames.
May 5, 201214 yr Author 6 K's thru 2 innings. Stubbs hasn't had a clue in both of his AB's. Cozart and Meso have both hit the ball hard, but they ended up as long fly outs to the warning track. Votto did have an infield hit.
May 5, 201214 yr Author Leake continues to disappoint. How long will Dusty keep running him out there?
May 6, 201214 yr Author What a terrible inning. Votto's head isn't in the game. It's one down the LF line that bounced into the stands that he didn't run to begin with because he had no idea where the ball was. Phillips follows with a weak bouncer back to the pitcher where Votto advances to 3rd, and then Bruce bounces into. 3-2 double play where it looked to me that Votto was safe.
May 6, 201214 yr Author Something doesn't seem right with Votto. Meso let out a big curse word that you could hear over the TV when he came up ready to fire down to 1st, but apparently Votto wasn't prepared for a throw from the catcher.
May 6, 201214 yr Leake continues to disappoint. How long will Dusty keep running him out there? As long as Jocketty keeps telling him to. I seriously doubt that is Dusty's call.
May 6, 201214 yr Author It just isn't the Reds night. Pirates getting all the breaks, and making all the plays.
May 6, 201214 yr Author Bruce with a triple and Rolen with a single to make it 2-1, and knock McDonald out of the game.
May 6, 201214 yr Author Rolen is the last person I would have expected to make a boneheaded base running decision like that. Perhaps the Reds are trying to set a record for double plays hit into in a game.
May 6, 201214 yr Author Leake gives up another bomb, but outside the two homers and 4 BB had a very good outing. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come, and not just because the Pirates have an anemic offense.
May 6, 201214 yr Author Stubbs was absolutely lost at the plate in that AB. He took strike 3 right down the middle.
