Let's hear the inputs on your gym in the 10th.

 

Pendleton County's gym holds about 2000 max. on a good night. Every boys home game is usually packed with a great atmosphere. The crowds have started to become rather large these past few years because of the teams' success.

 

A very tough place to win now-a-days. The Wildcats have a 16 game win streak there. Last loss @ PC was Dec. 9 2003.

 

The lockerooms at PC are referred to dungeons because they are downstairs in the basement. It's always fun to watch the opposing teams faces once they findout their locker room is in the basement.

 

The gym at PC used to be called the "Hilltop," because of existence on a hill. Today more people are calling it the "Woodshed" and "Coach Biggs Court." The "Woodshed" refers to legendary coach Phillip Wood who led the cats to two 10th region titles. Also "Coach Biggs Court" because of his recent teams and trip to Rupp Arena last season.

 

A very unique place and a great gym to watch a game.

It is one of my favorite gyms to go to. They also have a good band that gets the crowd up.

Brossart's is a very difficult place to come in and win at. It's so small that unless you show up before the start of the JV game, the only fans in attendance will be clad in green and white. Great homecourt advantage for the Mustangs.

I'll agree Brossart's gym is TINY. As many people as are wanting to attend their games in the past few years... they may want to think about a facility upgrade.

I agree it is too small, but believe me they love the home court advantage it brings with it....I wouldn't bet on them going anywhere any time soon.

The "SyDome" is a very tough place to get a win. Other than the screaming fans and small gym atmosphere, it seems as if though it's hard to make shots there. You rarely see a team go in there and put up 70-80 points against the Mustangs.

 

Also, it seems the heat was turned up just prior to gametime. A very humid gym. This and the slippery floor always seems to play against the Visitors.

 

Key Game at the SyDome this season: Pendleton County @ Bishop Brossart on Jan. 19. Should be a barnburner. :flame:

 

Maybe Mustang can help me out, but I believe PC has not won @ BB since the mid 90's. Maybe even before that.

Mason, Scott isn't a bad place to catch a game when school is in session either. Always have some creative chants.

Scott High has those dimmed lights that makes it hard to shoot. The "blueness" in the gym usually seems to effect the other teams' play.

 

Taylor Mill usually has a pretty good crowd on hand.

Very nice gym,Not really that intimadating but a very NICE gym.

I have to go with the Fieldhouse,Very tough to come into and get a win even when the other team might be the favorite.Toughest place in the 10th i can remember to get a win would have to have been the old Maysville Bulldogs Gym Now known as Earl D Jones court.It was tough to go in there and beat the Bulldogs.

Campbell has a great gym to watch a game at.

 

Campbell County has very nice facilities.
