I think Doug Teegarden got his skills from his grandfather on his mothers side of the family!!!! (then again maybe not all his skills)

I don't know if he played freshman ball at Ryle but I do know he moved into Boones district. I have spoken with him a few times and he is a very nice young man that works extremely hard. Don't know about the cleanup spot.

 

I was just going by the line scores posted on the site. If so, that's a pretty nice jump for the young man - going from freshman team to the cleanup hitter for one of the larger and better teams in the area.

Yes I also remember him hitting over 500 pretty much his entire career and he sucked everything up at SS.
