TIGER DAD

I have heard a lot of discussion on the greatest championship football games & I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the best championship game in KY. There were the STX/Bryan Station OT game in '99, the Male/Trinity game in '02(?) & the Boyle Co/Lone Oak (OT) game in '09 that have been mentioned. Any other games that come to mind?

Let's see. The LO/BC game was a nailbiter 2 OT game. And that's where the criticizing of the game officials is focussed. Imagine that. Why isn't there anybody critical of the officials in the lopsided games? Just human nature to blame someone else.

He accepted the Lou Holy Cross job last year but his dad talked him out of going there. He just can't compete with Trinity & St X any more. Male doesn't have the "advantages" it used to have.

Does anyone know the attendance for the game? I haven't seen it anywhere

In 6A, for example, if StX & Simon Kenton both win 2nd round games, they will meet in a 3rd round game. Both are #1 seeds. So who gets the home game? What is the determining factor?

I can't believe it!! Less than a week before the game and nothing on this board about the game!! I like St X 28-10. Trinity just doesn't look like a vintage Rock team. Still trying to find a QB

There's a new place down the street from Manual Stadium across the street from Check's. A place called Zeppelin. It's in the old Heitzman's bakery building. Not your typical bar food but they've got some good Irish beers on tap. It's pretty good!!

I passed by Manual Stadium this week & saw where they are finally replacing the stadium lights. For years they were the worst in the city & probably the state. Now the place will be enjoyable to watch a game. One of the best HS atmospheres around.
