  5. Name:Hayden Webster School:Fairview High School Positions played:OL,DL Graduating year:2026 Height and weight: 6'0, 250lbs How long have you played football, along with the reasons you continue to play? I’ve played football almost my whole life. I continue to play because it’s something I enjoy, and I love the team. What do you believe is the strongest part of your game? I think that my football IQ is what makes me a good player. I think that’s what separates me from other players. What are you doing during the off-season to improve your game? We’ve all been hitting the weight room hard, but I think the biggest thing for me is getting into the shape I need to be in for football season. What is the toughest part of being a lineman? I definitely feel like the whole offense or even defense depends on you. If you can’t block for your guys, they aren’t going to be able to make any plays. Which side of the line is the hardest for you to prepare for? Explain I would say the defensive line is definitely harder for me to prepare for. Which game are you looking forward to the most this season? Without a doubt, play Raceland. Focusing on the road games that you have played in, which stadium has had the best overall atmosphere, along with the reasons why it was so good? Probably Leslie County my freshman year. They had the best student section I’ve ever seen, and you could tell their community was involved. What will Fairview have to accomplish before the season starts to make them better and have a winning season? We have the talent that we need to be a good football team. We just need a change of culture, and that’s what Coach Roy and ourselves are doing right now: changing the culture. We don’t feel like we’re going to be a 2-9 team anymore; that’s not what we expect. We know we can beat every team on our schedule, and that’s what we plan on doing. What is the toughest part of practice? 100% conditioning. Coach is definitely getting us in shape this year. What have you accomplished this offseason to help you become a better player? I feel like my attitude has improved. With so many college coaches looking at Hudl, how often do you update your page? Well, with me not playing last year, it’s definitely been rough putting myself out there, as far as Hudl goes. But once I get some more film, I will update it every week. What made you come out for the team this season, after taking off last season? I really missed it after not playing last year. I also feel like Coach Roy and the team have the ability to do something special this year, and I want to be a part of it. With so many schools facing low numbers, what do you do to try and get your classmates to come out for the team? I tell them to give it a shot, and put in some effort, and I think they’ll like it. Outside of sports, what do you do for fun? I like to spend time with my family and friends and work. What is your go-to snack? Pop tarts. What is your favorite video game system? Playstation 5. 6. Lake County Captains (Cleveland) At Beloit Sky Carp (Miami)
  7. Kaden Sparks Fairview High School OL/DL 25’ 5’9” 270 What will you miss the most from the 2024 class? I will miss my friends from the 24’ class the most. I was very close with them. Bubba and JC were my best friends. What was the highlight of the 2023 season? The highlight of the 23’ season would be beating Green Ohio while their lights turned off on us. Who is the toughest teammate to square up against in practice? Definitely Hayden Webster and Wyatt Bowen. These kids are upcoming juniors, and they work harder than most kids I know. They give me a run for my money. What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Fairview High School? friendships that are created throughout school and sports. These friendships that I’ve made throughout school will stay with me for my whole life. What is the toughest part of being a high school student-athlete? Maintaining my strength and conditioning throughout school and summer. As an athlete, in any sport, what has been your biggest moment? Having a breakout game against Green Ohio. We desperately needed a win, and we were down crucial personnel. I had to step up for my team and do what they demanded of me. As an athlete, in any sport, what has been your most embarrassing moment? In my freshman year of football, I told the other team the play. What type of weather do you enjoy playing in the most? I enjoy playing on cool fall nights. I don’t burn up as much. Turf or grass, which do you prefer to play on? Personally, I would rather play on well-maintained grass. You don’t get turf pellets all over yourself. What must you improve on the most to become a better player? Staying in shape is a must for me. We have been working very hard to be in the best shape of our lives. What is your game-day routine? On game days, I drink as much water as I can. I don’t want to cramp. Then I watch a film in between classes. When school let's out, I get a light snack and then go to the locker room and get taped. Have you heard from any colleges? If you have, could you name one or two? Yes, I think Morehead is interested. I go to camp next weekend for them. Outside of sports, what do you do for fun? I spend time with my friends and family, play video games, and fish. What is your go-to snack? Purple Doritos Have you watched any of the UFL games? Yes, I watch them at work sometimes. Here is a link to the pics the player sent. One of them is pretty cool. https://daveburnworth.blogspot.com/2024/06/2024-interview-with-kaden-never-give-up.html
