Indiana beat UCLA 42-13 on the road. Not a score I would have ever expected to see.

At least this game will probably cause the voters to move Texas up to number one.

2nd and 8 for Kentucky on the last drive and they stop running it. That and the first half fumble lost the game.

I was surprised at how big Adair County was. I don’t have the listed heights and weights for both teams but when I first got there I noticed that AC had at least 5 or 6 players bigger than our biggest. I heard on the radio feed that number 70 I think it was for AC was 6’2” and 360. FS couldn’t do anything with him. They also were just as fast if not faster than FS. They totally shut down our sweep plays which almost never happens. FS had 6 turnovers the last I heard just after halftime. They were flat as a board last week and even worse this week. FS had a few injuries to contend with coming into this game but not enough that I expected this beat down. It was a smart move for AC to keep Grant at running back. You don’t need to throw it much when you can give it to him behind that line. If Jessie is able to return they may still be better off just feeding it to Grant for the most part. Just total domination by the Indians and my hat’s off to them. FS should beat Butler County in the district but that’s probably all they will do. Very disappointing. Good luck to Adair the rest of the way, I think they are going to have a special season. Their game against Hart County will be huge.

Conversion pass is good. Adair County is ahead 35-0 and puts the running clock on Franklin-Simpson 38 seconds before halftime. I’m about to go find something good to eat in Columbia. Adair County should be in the 3A top ten. FS should not.

Botched handoff leads to a fumble picked up by Lane Grant and returned 50+ yards for a TD for Adair County. Going for 2 and the running clock.

27-0 Indians. Total meltdown by FS. I haven’t seen them play this awful in a long time but Adair has a lot to do with it.

Grant 22 yard TD right up the middle. AC 26-0 at 6:21 in the second. Time out before the conversion.

Grant with about a 50 yard TD run. Adair County leads 20-0 with 10:59 left in the second quarter. This one will probably be a running clock. These two teams are mismatched and I am probably going to be home much quicker than I thought.

FS fumble recovered by AC at the FS 43.

It’s apparent now that FS is down this year, but this looks like the best Adair County team I have ever seen.

AC tried one drive with Grant at QB and went 3 and out. With Smith at QB and Grant at RB, they have scored twice.
