  1. Camels take the 1 seed for the 37th district in a competitive, hard played game tonight in Claryville.
  2. Garyn Jackson with 16 pts 10 assists and 5 steals. Broc Sorgenfrei with 16 points with 4 threes. Connor Weinel with 15 points and 6 boards . Cole Johnson with 11 and Nate Smith with 10. Believe this is the second game the Camels have had 5 guys in double figures. Up next is Calvary on Monday and Ashland on Thursday.
  3. You’re reading way too much into it. Congratulate the man on a great coaching career and don’t try to solve riddles that don’t exist.
  4. Camels wrap up the regular season with a win over the Tigers. Beechwood has Highlands on Friday.
  5. Camels get the win tonight in Alexandria. Holmes up next on Monday.
  6. If 40th district chose to have it at the Fieldhouse it would be at the Fieldhouse every year. They choose one of their gyms as is their right when it’s their time to choose. 37th exercised the same right. People can not like it but to me the system is fair. Let the districts rotate on the choice and if they pick somewhere you don’t like then rage about it on social media and BGP for four weeks while nitpicking every other decision. Win/win? 🤷‍♂️
  7. Why is ok for the 37th district teams to drive 2 hours but not ok for the 40th district? Maybe the 40th district can call Julian Tackett and request to go to the Eleventh or Sixteenth? The issue isn’t the Fieldhouse or even the 39th district and Mason Co I’d assume. A lot of traditionalists in the 10th need to accept the 37th is a part of the region. I know a lot hate it but it’s been almost 25 years now. My word. If it’s their year to choose where to host the region, let them do it.
  8. Kentucky I believe has the least amount of cases compared with state’s bordering it besides West Virginia. There have been 0 cases traced back to football workouts. If you take football out of the equation, and this maybe shocking news, but kids will still hang out with each other and do kid things. Those things will be more dangerous to the spread than any football practice or game. I always try to see both sides of the issue but for the life of me I can’t see any reason to postpone football anymore than it already is when looking at it logically. The logistics of a spring move for schools would be a mess. I don’t see how that’s feasible. Kids have done what they’ve been asked. There haven’t been any traced back to those workouts. Let’s play.
  9. The KHSAA Board of Controls is meeting Thursday. What should they decide on summer basketball? I can’t imagine there being summer games between teams even in July but will they open up the option for schools to hold small group workouts? Would that be advisable? I’m interested to see what answers the KHSAA comes out with as the dead period ends. Not an easy position to be in to make that decision. I would think a small group (1 to a goal?) would be doable with social distance guidelines even now but I’m sure there are aspects I’m overlooking.
  10. If Ohio, Tennessee, and Indiana can figure it out I’d hope Kentucky could in a safe way. If we can have 50 people in bars by June 29th football should be doable.
  11. Odd time for them to be monetizing that or setting them to private.
