  1. SK lost to Cov Cath by 39 and Ryle Beat Cov Cath by 16. (correction)
  2. Union County Carmel (IN) Highlands Owensboro Ashland
  3. Correct, Garyn Jackson (WR/S) and Blake Funston (RB/S) stepped in with a week of prep to handle QB for the Camels.
  4. St. Xavier Boyle County Trinity Ryle Simon Kenton
  5. I have been on both sides of this penalty, trying to determine the steadfast rules. When I was on the defensive side and also as a rookie referee, I was under the impression there is an imaginary plane (like the end zone) that can not be crossed prior to release. I was overruled as a referee and out argued by others that this was not the case. I have been told as long as a portion of the player is at or behind the LOS at beginning of throwing motion, then not a penalty. Just trying to determine exact rules so that I can become a better fan.
  6. Everyone put your referee hats on for "you make the call": Ruled illegal forward pass. Not as blatant as the announcers say but a close call. Need some armchair referees to help me understand.
  7. Disappointing for Camel fans, but an exciting back and forth for several quarters. First year starters Elijah Depperschmidt and Parker Kist both had a great night defensively for the Camels. Elijah with several tackles in the backfield and Parker with some great open field tackles against some very elusive receivers. Both are great examples of why football players should wrestle. Level change and attack the hips/legs.
